Chemistry

 

Introduction

The team comprises of many enthusiastic frontline teachers and curriculum developers. Throughout these years, it has been heavily involved in drafting of the new Syllabus at all levels from S4 to S7. Many have also helped in collating and developing different teaching and learning strategies throughout the years.

Seminars and workshops are held throughout the year to promote such new or innovative strategies. Some of the highlights in the past years are projects developed for teaching and learning at various level with IT-enrichment (web-based, CD-ROM, VCD, etc...), the Hong Kong Chemistry Olympiad for secondary schools (HKChO, as a co-organizer), Green Chemistry (through the promotion of microscale chemistry), fun in chemistry, book reviews.
